Congratulations to eighth grader Avery Koch, who won the PKMS Geography Bee last night! In order to qualify to participate in the Bee, students had to first achieve a high score on a geography test that they took in social studies class. The thirty top-scoring students qualified to compete last night. After several rounds of extremely tough questions, Avery emerged as the victor over all the other competitors! Eighth grader Luca Corazzo finished second and eighth grader Samantha Whitaker finished third.

Congratulations to Avery, and good luck as he now completes an online test, attempting to represent PKMS in the Missouri Geography Bee!
